The Mackenzie Alpine Riders Horse Club is asking if anyone has lost this black and white cat? We are not sure if it is a male or female but it has been hanging around the Grounds and taking shelter under one of the barns for the past week or so. If this is your cat, please come and capture it as soon as possible before the resident fox or coyotes do! Thanks in advance! Time is of the essence!

The Mackenzie Alpine Riders would like to congratulate the winner of our 50/50 Raffle, Bob Kallis. Ticket #147 won him $500.00! We would like to thank everyone that supported our Club. All proceeds will be going to improvements to the Grounds.

We had a visit from a group of enthusiastic horse lovers on Sunday, May 19. Thank you to all of the members for making it such a successful event. But, a special thank you to Dave and Carolyn Bodin for reaching out and getting the ball rolling. They shared their knowledge and some of their horses with the group! A good time was held by all!

The Mackenzie Alpine Riders Horse Club would like to take this opportunity thank the Forest Fire Fighters from Cranbrook for taking time out of their crazy schedules for their assistance! The vicious storm that passed through this evening blew down a good sized tree that took out part of a paddock fence and blocked part of the Mill Road! They took it upon themselves to quickly buck up the tree into removable chunks! Thanks to their efforts and the quick responses of the Public, the police, Public Works, and our own members no horses escaped or were harmed! Thank you, one and all!
