Rowing at LYC

Rowing at LYC Looking for a great way to get in shape and get on the water this summer? Come try rowing at the Lunenburg Yacht Club!

Rowing is a challenging and fun way to get outside and try something new. Programs are available for adults and youth at LYC all summer long! Junior Rowing: Offered daily from 9am to 12pm, for ages 13+

Learn to Row: Sessions offered all summer, and introduction to rowing for beginners, you must take the Learn to Row course if you have never rowed before. Recreational Rowing: For more experienced

rowers or those who have competed Learn to Row, offered mornings and evenings throughout the summer. Flexible scheduling and additional times are available email [email protected] for more information!

SIGN UP NOW FOR OUR NEXT COASTAL ROWING TOUR!

Our next Coastal Rowing Tour for experienced rowers will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Please sign up using the online registration form: https://forms.gle/eT95YpkwjtzQ1U7g8

Our first tour, held June 26, 2025 was a fun and exciting (at times) 20 km tour of Mahone Bay. It was a beautiful sunny day, with moderate to strong headwinds, wonderful calm and flat water, moderate to strong tail winds, and some fun but challenging waves on the way home. Everyone had a great time!

LYC Rowing's first 1-day Coastal Rowing Tour for 2025 is happening on July 26th. For experienced rowers, this 1 day tour will take them on an 18-20 km rowing 'cruise' on the beautiful waters of Mahone Bay. Lunch and all equipment is provided. Sign up now - registration deadline is 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 22nd.
