On behalf of Lakeside Minor Hockey and our Lakeside U13 team, we would like to thank all the players, coaches, and fans for attending the provincial weekend in Lundar. We hope you all enjoyed your time in our community. It was a weekend with some great hockey and all teams should be proud of themselves. A huge thank you to our game officials and our local Referee in Chief who organized the officials for the weekend. Events like this couldn’t happen without the support of the community, and that is one thing we had this weekend. A huge thank you to all of our tournament sponsors; we are so grateful for your support of this event. To those who donated to the silent auction, player lounge, and canteen, thank you! We also want to thank all of the volunteers who worked the gate, clock and in the canteen; you played such an important role by doing this for us. To our caretakers and the volunteers who helped to keep our facility clean throughout the weekend, this was so appreciated! To our canteen manager and Grettir board; thank you for organizing wonderful and tasty food options for the canteen! To those who took part in our opening ceremonies, thank you for your time! A huge thank you to our Lakeside U13 families for their commitment to preparing for this weekend and volunteering their team during the weekend. Finally, thank you to Hockey Manitoba and and Cargill Ltd for holding the provincial weekends in Manitoba! We hope everyone made it home safely! Thank you again!
