Hey everyone! Inviting all of you to check out and respond to our friends, Moonlight Movies facebook post about a potential new site for them.
We LOVE movies and would so love to see these awesome guys be able to carry on giving all of you, what us couped up covid-19 caused inmates are craving SO MUCH! MOVIES while distancing.

Hey Regina! Are you still interested in a Moonlight Movies Drive-In? Here is our update.
Next week we have a meeting regarding a lease for a location that is less than a 15 minute drive from Regina. We are not saying where because it is only a meeting and we do not want the potential landlord flooded with calls.
If we do get the lease, we still need to build a screen. Drive-in's are not very profitable at the best of times, but especially now during the economic downturn no bank will finance that. So we may have to turn to crowdfunding which may or may not be successful.
If all goes well it is very possible this could come together in time for July. And we are talking a full fledged experience with concession. As always, many of our movies will be older with the odd new one sprinkled in. But that is not all bad news. Over the years we have found that movies like Grease, Footloose, and the Harry Potter series (for example), have been more popular than brand new ones anyhow.
The reason for this post is because we are looking for encouragement. A big response here lets us know you are still interested and it lets our potential new landlord know how well supported this idea is.
