She even has some provincial banners hanging in the ball facility, along with locals Sami Wandler and Kasey Jessiman.

Here’s some background from the lady herself.

My name is Abbey Arntsen. I am from Dinsmore, Saskatchewan, and I just completed my first year at Western Nebraska playing college softball. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and started pitching when I was 8. I played most of my minor softball in Swift Current where we won 3 provincial titles. I was picked up twice to attend westerns in 2022 and 2023. I moved to Saskatoon in Grade 12 to attend the Tommy Douglas Softball Academy, and travelled that winter with the 222 program. Over the years I have experienced working with high level coaches, which has given me advanced knowledge and the ability to help others. I will be returning to Nebraska to finish my second year of studies and softball. I have a passion for working with the younger generation of softball players, and bringing out their potential.

Today officially wraps up Sunday ball camps.

U15 softball camp is done too.

All other camps will finish on May 19th and 20th.

***May 16th was the scheduled day for our classroom camps. But not many kiddos signed up. Would it work better to host on May 17th instead? Please comment if that works better!

Ball camps start this Tuesday at 4:30!🙌🏻

Please send an etransfer if you haven’t already.

What you will need to bring:
Helmet if you have one
Ball glove
Inside running shoes
Water bottle (no juice, pop, or energy drinks)
Bat if you have one
Bunnyhug as it can still be chilly in there this time of year
