With the 103rd Lougheed Agricultural Fair coming up this Saturday, August 8, we’re looking back at the history behind this long-running community event.

Host Cary Castagna sits down with Lougheed Agricultural Society president John Snethun to discuss how the fair has evolved over the decades, the volunteers who continue to bring it to life and the important role agriculture has played throughout its history.

John also gives us a preview of this year’s festivities, including the parade, livestock shows, family slow pitch, bench exhibits, children’s activities, market vendors, museum activities, a Show ’n Shine, roast beef supper and more.
