Hello Friends. We have a ton of forest fires here in Ont. None in the immediate area thank God but it is so smoky here you can't see across the lake. We got some rain but not enough yet. It's 57 deg. Even tough breathing. Pray for rain.

Thanks to the damn covid lockdown Klotz Lake Camp is like a ghost town on the Walleye opener. Just a few local boats on the water. The weather is mild and no mosquitos yet but the worse part is no fishermen. Hopefully things will be back to normal sooner than later. I miss you all and be safe.

Hello friends, it's been awhile since I last posted but we are surviving. Had some nice spring like weather for a few days and the snow was melting pretty good but last night the snow started. It's been snowing all day with high North winds. The drifts are over 2 feet and the Hwy. is closed. 23 deg. Hope everybody is staying safe.
You can't trust mother nature in the North.

Well folks, we have typical March weather now. Really warm (mid 40's) to -25. Yesterday we got a foot of snow with heavy drifting. The Hwy. was closed for the day. Today, -27 and beautiful sunshine. Only a couple of months till spring.

Happy New Year!!! Yes, we had a white Christmas. Finally got the nasty 2020 snow all piled up.

Merry Christmas friends. I took these yesterday. We had a winter storm pass through and it dumped over 2 feet of snow on us. Got drifts up to 5 foot. Now this morning the temp. is -27. Talk about a White Christmas. A lot of clean up to do now.

Well it's the first day of winter although it has seemed like winter for the last couple of months here. Also the shortest day of the year so if we have an overcast day like today it starts getting dark at 4 PM. We have just over a foot of snow with another foot coming on Wed. The lake finally froze over completely On Nov. 24 Th. The coldest day so far has been -15 f. I hope you all are safe and getting ready for Christmas.
