🟢Greenstone trails are good to go! 🟢

Big thank you to the Municipality of Greenstone for putting in a lot of time in the last couple of days to help resolve the land use permit issues. Without their help and cooperation this wouldn’t have been possible.

After a long weekend spent on the groomer, the A trail is now connected to Hearst. Thank you to groomer operators Alain, Marc, Serge and Mario who worked tirelessly day and night to get this trail open! 🙌🏻

🪧 Trail update 🪧

Greenstone Snowmobile Club is proud to anounce that the relocation of the L205 at the North end of 2nd St. East in Geraldton has finaly been completed.

👉🏻This relocation will reduce snowmobile traffic on municipal roadways and will in turn increase public safety to motorists, pedestrians and snowmobilers.

GSC continues to work on their trail system to improve safety and trail quality. We thank all of our volunteers who are able to make this possible 🙌🏻

🚨 Volunteer Spotlight 🚨

We would like to extend a big thank you to Clark Furlong who has been basically living in the groomer since Dec 24th!
Without Clark you would not see any green on the ITG. Clark has dedicated countless hours grooming the trails, battling the extreme weather and managing several breakdowns in the past week.
As you are reading this post, he is currently out working on the L221. ❄️ ⛄️

GSC would like to give a big shout out to Mr Spridgeon who came to the groomer’s rescue during the Christmas Holidays on the Hydro Line in Geraldton. Without his help, we would not have been able to open the trails as quickly.
