Trying to keep the sandlot dream alive but don’t wanna commit to a full season of intramurals? Well pick up some chew and prep your arm for Tommy John surgery because this season of LUG Softball is starting this fall with games Saturday afternoons and Tuesday night. Here’s a quick rundown of the league:

- Every team gets 12 filthy LUG x Aberdeen jerseeys

- Discount for any player that signs up for Hockey and Softball

- We’re running two divisions (D1 competitive for the experienced vets and D2 beer league that'll be co-ed for the casual slugger)

- Games hosted right next to the downtown core

Last night, after an 11 run comeback and winning in extras, Team Pedvis moved on from the wildcard to the divisional round.

Will they take down the defending champs, or will the London Jew Jays continue their journey to back-to-back SGSL championships?

Will Sandlot's offseason efforts of acquiring big league talent pay off or will Adler upset the self-proclaimed "superteam" (Josh Levine) in their Conference Championship?

Hey Guys!

We are excited to announce that Saturday will be an extra special day of games in honour of homecoming! Throughout the day, we will have free beer for players while supplies last and many more giveaways! The team that scores the most runs will get Budweiser hats for every player and there will be a special giveaway awarded to the MVP of the day. We want to thank Bobby Beamish from Budweiser for making this happen and can’t wait to see you all at the field on Saturday!

Also, if you're bringing beers for yourselves, try to make them Buds!

The SGSL is FOR SALE!

Once again the SGSL had a tremendous year! The end of this season marked 11 years since the establishment of the SGSL.
We saw a boost from 10 to 12 teams, and increased schedule efficiency to allow for 7+ games played.

As most of the executive team will be leaving London this year, this opens up an amazing opportunity for a new ownership group to take over the league.
