WHAT IS OUR STORY?
The Club brings families together and our Club is a 2nd home to over 1,500 members. We’ve got a strong foundation and continue to modernize our service offerings to ensure multi-generational enjoyment throughout 275 acres of breathtaking, panoramic scenery. Although the Club began as a hunting club in 1885, over the years, amenities such as dining, golf, tennis, pickleball, trap and s***t and fitness were added to enrich member experience. Club members have a history of excellence in business, athletics, and altruistic pursuits.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a seasonal Hospitality Supervisor / League Coordinator to cater to our tennis and pickleball members. In the position, you will work full time in our Tennis and Pickleball facility. You will be responsible for the supervision of 3-5 food and beverage personnel in the department, including the design and delivery of training and development, scheduling, and performance management, in coordination with the Food and Beverage Manager. You will manage daily food and beverage service and retail operations including maintaining inventory, preparing, and serving quick service food and beverage. You will assist the Director of Racquet Sports in the organization and ex*****on of all special events, leagues, and tournaments hosted at the Tennis & Pickleball Facility. You will liaise with members and event guests to expertly plan, market, and assist in executing these events, identify Member’s needs and ensure satisfaction.
Please note: The seasonal contract is for March 1 to November 30 with the potential for year-round employment dependent on performance.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!
Our members enjoy exclusive access to our professionally laid clay tennis courts and newly built pickleball courts, and with a waitlist to join the Club, we expect our tennis/pickleball staff to deliver exceptional service. The successful candidate will have at least three years of supervisory experience in a retail or restaurant environment and be comfortable with point-of-sale systems. You will have at least two years of experience in event planning. You have strong communication skills and can respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a positive manner. Hours of work may vary, and you are available to work a flexible work week which includes some days and nights during the week and on weekends. Post-secondary education, or relevant work experience, in event management, hospitality, tourism, or recreation management is required. Completion of the Smart Serve and Safe Food Handling Certificate is required prior to your start date at the Club. Experience in the organization of sport leagues or summer camps is required. Knowledge of the sport of tennis and pickleball will be considered a strong asset.
