A great performance from Abdul this past weekend at Battle for the Belt in Niagara.
What impressed us most wasn’t just the result it was his ability to stay composed, listen to his corner, and make the necessary adjustments. After a competitive first round, Abdul took the feedback between rounds, made the small changes that were needed, and those adjustments paid dividends in rounds two and three. That’s the mark of a coachable athlete and a developing fighter.
Success in this sport is built on hard work, discipline, trust in the process, and the willingness to learn. Abdul continues to demonstrate all of those qualities every time he steps into the gym and into the ring.
As coaches, we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, dedication, and commitment he has shown throughout his journey. The success he is experiencing is a direct reflection of the work he puts in day after day, and it is well deserved.
A huge thank you to Muay Thai Niagara for hosting another outstanding event and for the hospitality shown to our team throughout the weekend. The professionalism and effort that goes into these shows never goes unnoticed.
The work continues.
