What a Start to Our 5th Season!
The London Cricket League’s 5th Anniversary Opening Ceremony kicked off in style on Saturday, May 10th, at North London Athletic Fields (NLAF).

We were honoured to welcome Councillor .ca (Susan Stevenson), MPP (Terence Kernaghan - London North Centre), local Olympic champions who have proudly represented Canada and , our amazing sponsors .ca , community members, local artists, and of course, all our league teams and fans.

It was a day filled with energy, excitement, and community spirit — a powerful reminder of how cricket continues to bring people together in London.

The matches are now underway, and the season promises drama, passion, and unforgettable moments!

London Cricket League is committed to growing cricket for all communities, building a legacy based on inclusion, teamwork, and opportunity — not just recognition.

We’re thrilled to kick off the 2025 season of the London Cricket League with a special celebration — and we’re especially honoured to welcome two inspiring leaders as our Guests of Honour:

Councillor Corrine Rahman
Councillor Susan Stevenson

Their presence is a powerful reminder of the importance of diversity, representation, and community support in local sport. As two dedicated public leaders, they’ve been strong advocates for inclusivity and equity — values we proudly uphold at LCL.

This year, we’re not only launching another exciting season of cricket, but also opening up conversations about future women’s and youth cricket programs. With over 400 players across 15 teams, LCL continues to showcase the passion and growth of cricket in London.

The day begins with an exciting match: Mavericks vs — the first official clash of the 2025 season!

Join us as we celebrate the sport, the community, and a vision for a more inclusive and vibrant cricket future.
