No one wants to hear this, but people respect you more when you're in shape.

My client Brad learned this the hard way.

My philosophy as a coach has never been about pushing athletes to the point of breakdown just for the sake of a trophy. 🏆

A great prep coach should know how to build an athlete… but an elite coach also knows how to protect them.

Hormonal health.
Inflammation.
Recovery.
Stress management.
Digestion.
Longevity.
Mental resilience.

These things matter.

Too many athletes normalize burnout, adrenal fatigue, extreme inflammation, rebound weight gain and feeling completely destroyed after prep as “part of the sport.”

I don’t accept that.

I believe in evolving coaching methods and staying educated on tools, protocols, recovery strategies, supplementation, peptides, nutrition and training approaches that can SUPPORT the athlete through the process - not just strip them down for stage day and leave them broken after.

Because the goal shouldn’t only be to create a great physique.

The goal should be to create a strong, healthy, resilient athlete who can continue thriving long after the show is over.

That’s the standard I hold myself to as a coach. 💪❤️

This is what happens when someone stops “trying” and starts committing.

The physical changes are obvious - leaner, stronger, more defined.
But what I love most is the confidence starting to show through the posture, the energy and the pride in the progress.

To all of our Team BOSS athletes:
Never underestimate what small daily actions can do when repeated consistently. Results aren’t built in one perfect workout or one perfect meal. They’re built through discipline over time.

🤗❤️ We’ve all watched grandparents… and sometimes even our own parents… slowly lose strength, independence, energy and confidence as the years go by.

But aging itself isn’t the whole problem.

Loss of muscle is.

After 40, adults can lose approximately 3–8% of muscle mass per decade - and that rate accelerates even more after 70. That loss of muscle is what contributes to frailty, slower metabolism, weakness, falls, aches, poor posture and loss of independence.

And the truth is…

A lot of this is preventable.

🥺 If you DON’T want this to become your future, there are four things you NEED to prioritize:

🏋️‍♀️ Lift weights consistently
3–5x per week is one of the greatest investments you can make in your future body. Muscle protects your joints, supports your metabolism, improves insulin sensitivity and helps you stay STRONG as you age.

🍗 Eat enough protein
Most women dramatically under-eat protein - especially over 40. Your body cannot build or maintain muscle without the raw materials to do it.

🧠 Support your hormones & recovery
Hormonal shifts can impact energy, inflammation, sleep, fat distribution, muscle retention and mood. Ignoring it doesn’t make it disappear.

🚶‍♀️ Move daily
Walk. Stay active. Use your body. Movement is medicine - especially in midlife and beyond.
