What started as a gap in opportunity quickly became something much bigger 💪
In response to the LDCSB being over capacity for Track & Field 🏃♀️, TPH Academy London pivoted over a 4-month period to create an inaugural Grade 4–8 Track & Field Meet. Ensuring student-athletes still had the chance to compete, connect, and experience a true championship-style day. With tremendous weather to go with it!
Last Tuesday at John Paul II High School, we hosted 14 schools and approximately 450 students across 7 events (4 track, 3 field). The result was a full day of energy, effort, and outstanding participation from across the region.
A sincere thank you to Head of Academics Mark Regan for his leadership and stewardship in bringing this event to life, and to the more than 20 CCH student volunteers from CCH's and Rec Leadership whose support was essential to the success of the day.
Special thanks as well to Wendy Glover (LEAP) and Drew Irvine for supporting with co-op student involvement, and to all staff and volunteers who contributed their time and effort to make the meet run seamlessly.
A strong reminder of what’s possible when schools, staff, and students come together to build opportunity for others.
