Dance and the love of dance comes from the heart and should be taught as an art combining technical advancement with the sheer enjoyment of movement. We do not compete or examine our dancers instead we provide many other performance workshops and community opportunities. We are equally proud of our dancers who learn grace, posture and develop lifelong friendships as we are of those who go onto pro

fessional dance careers. We enjoy the atmosphere of an extended family with both students and staff. We encourage fun and enthusiasm while providing beginner classes for all ages to pre-professional classes and everything in between. When you enter a dance class all else is forgotten. Dance is an expression of emotions where enjoyment, movement and laughter harmonize.

It’s officially September and that means we are busy preparing for the upcoming season!

Last night we had training with our season 33 T.A.P team dancers! 🤩

Our Teacher Assistant Program (T.A.P) is designed to train the future teachers of Dance London. It is a crucial part of our training program. These amazing mentors help in our younger classes. They can be seen in the classroom helping dancers with steps, assisting the teacher, shoe lace tying, bringing dancers in and out of the classroom for bathroom breaks etc. Having assistants in the classroom is essential for our kinder and junior 1/2 classes as it allows the instructor to keep the class moving. It also gives our assistants hands on training as a dance instructor. Throughout the season these dancers will participate in trainings lead by our T.A.P director Miss Emma. These students volunteer their time and we are so grateful for all they do! They truly are a dream team! 🙌

📣Calling all focused stream dancers! Get ready for a jam-packed three days that will leave you feeling inspired, strong, and ready to start the 2026-2027 dance season! Dancers will take classes in ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, acro, and yoga by DL faculty and guest teachers. Registration also includes a professional photoshoot with Danielle Perelman Photography each participant will receive a headshot and dance photo that can be used for future auditions. Join us for this exciting three-day dance event that is sure to inspire!

Congratulations to one of our Advanced and DLPC dancers, Zoe, who recently competed internationally at the Junior Theater Festival as part of the Canadian All Stars team, earning an “Achievement in Dance” award!

Zoe spent five intensive days training at the world-famous Pineapple Dance Studios, where performers from across Canada came together to stage 9 to 5 The Musical alongside West End choreographers and musicians.
