🌎⚽THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! ⚽🌎

With the world’s biggest soccer tournament coming to Canada 🇨🇦, USA 🇺🇸, and Mexico 🇲🇽 in 2026, we decided to ask some of our Whitecaps London players one very important question…

🏆 “If you scored the winning goal in the final and won the World Cup, how would you celebrate?”

The answers?

From epic dance moves 💃🕺 to wild goal celebrations 🤸‍♂️, victory laps 🏃‍♀️, and some ideas we’ve never seen before 🤣, our players absolutely delivered!

We had an incredible time filming these future stars, and one thing is for sure — their personalities shine just as brightly as their soccer skills. ⭐

👏 A huge thank you to all of the players who participated. You were creative, energetic, confident, and absolutely AWESOME!

🎥 Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing 6 different celebration videos, featuring players from across our club as we join the excitement and countdown to the global soccer festival coming to North America in 2026!

🚨⚽ THE SCHEDULE IS LIVE! ⚽🚨

The wait is over! The schedule for the 2026 Shine the Light on Woman Abuse All Girls Soccer Tournament has officially been released!

We are now just a couple of weeks away from welcoming nearly 830 athletes from across Ontario for an incredible weekend of soccer, friendship, competition, and awareness.

From June 12–14, players will take the field at North London and Windermere Complexes, competing in a tournament that is about so much more than soccer. Together, we’ll continue to support the important work of the London Abused Women’s Centre and help spread the message of healthy relationships, leadership, and ending violence against women.

Check your schedules, start planning your weekend, and get ready for an unforgettable experience both on and off the field!

🔥 A Big Weekend for Whitecaps London OPDL! 🔥

What a fantastic weekend of competition, character, and growth across our OPDL program!

⚽ U15 Girls (2011)
The girls showed incredible grit and resilience in a hard-fought victory over Oakville. Playing a player down after a red card, they dug deep and found a way to win. Congratulations to newly signed Maia Ladrouz, who scored the game-winning goal in her first OPDL match with Whitecaps London! The group continues to show tremendous growth, confidence, and command in their performances.

⚽ U17 Boys (2009)
A dominant cup performance saw the boys defeat Durham 4-2. The team was exciting to watch from start to finish, playing with energy, confidence, and purpose. A complete performance that showcased the quality and potential within this group.

⚽ U16 Boys (2010)
The boys battled hard but came up short in a 3-1 result. Despite the loss, the group showed determination and never stopped competing. There were plenty of positive moments to build on as they continue their development and prepare for the next challenge.

⚽ U17 Girls (2009)
The girls put in a valiant effort against North Toronto in cup action. After a tremendous battle, the match was decided in penalty kicks. While the result didn’t go our way, we couldn’t be prouder of the determination, resilience, and character shown throughout the match.

⚽ U13 Boys (2013)
Another strong performance from the boys as they continue to improve week after week. Their development, commitment, and willingness to learn are evident every time they step on the pitch. The future is bright for this talented group.

💙 This weekend was a great reminder of what Whitecaps London is all about. Competing with passion, showing resilience in adversity, and continuing to develop every day.

We are proud of every player, coach, and family who represented the badge this weekend. Wins, losses, and everything in between, we continue to move forward together.
