RSDay 893.. still going strong..

out of my whole vacation today was my absolute FAV run..
behind the house we are staying at I was introduced to this path..
just follow the big path they said.. it will keep leading you to the most amazing views..

Started off with the sun rising up behind me.. and the hill started.. lol
Up up up I climbed .. I could see a canyon off to my right.. I got up enough courage to get a close look.. yep.. I was nice and high lol …

I kept on climbing.. taking a few breaks to adjust to the altitude increase.. man.. this altitude makes for a slow pace😂

I got to one view point and I saw the vastness of the valley on with side of me.. then I saw the path kept going so away I went.. up up up some more .. then the path came to an end and I felt as if I was on top of the world.. my knees were shakey.. from the climb or from how high I was!! I got as close to the edge as my mind would let me without my knees completly buckling below me😳

The view was fabulous.. The clouds were rolling in and the wind was picking up.. time told ho back.. but the best part was it was ALL downhill from here..

One feels so small in a place like this.. I was truly reminded that this is Gods Country♥️ so vast and beautiful you can see forever

Well I officially made it🌟🌟
Running streak Day 873

Todays run was an early one as I had to fit it in before heading early for a work appointment..
the morning was crisp with a bright moon and partly starry sky..
not to windy.. just peaceful💛

Tyler was especially on my mind this morning 💛 873..
They (Avery and Tyler) have been my motivation.. every morning… so many days have passed.. it still does not seem real ..

I was reflecting on why I started this streak and how so much has changed not only in my life but the world around us.. time continues to go on..
and it will continue..
We hold our memories close to our hearts.. we will never forget 💛💚.

Funny how my run that started out as “I only have time for a quick 6km” turned into running 8.73km (fitting..)

the songs that played today were songs that got me through some really tough runs.. in snow, sleet, wind and heat.. funny how that happened..
the puddle that I splashed 💦into in complete darkness made my laugh out loud.. and thanked Tyler for that one… 🤣

This running streak has taught me a lot about myself and what I can do mentally and physically.. Their are no limits.. 💗

Am I going to continue running ?!?!
I will for as long as I can .. I know the streak is coming to an end soon.. but a new one can start soon after I am certain💚💛..

Thank you to the community for your outpouring of support -we live in such a great community and I am forever grateful for the support and love that went into the running challenge that helped so many of our local youth stay in sports they love ..

And Thank you Avery and Tyler for being my motivation.. I am honoured to have known and loved each of you .. your memory will be with me forever and ever

RSDay 836 in Latvia🇱🇻

We made it! Only about 3-4hrs of sleep and I’m super tired but took it easy with a 3k jaunt - I got my shoes on and explored the area where our Airbnb is! We are right next to the kids hotel 😜.

How beautiful is this park!

I’m looking forward to what adventures await us this week!

Back in Montreal (Pointe Claire) decided to go a different route as we were back up staying near highway.. Ran to Village of Pointe Claire.. cute town on the water

But it was definitly downhill to the water and ALL uphill back 🥵🥵

Forgot my water bottle in the room
And my legs were tired from yesterdays drive and lack of sleep..

It’s done though and the view was worth it ❤️

Running streak day 800!!!

Silly me.. paused my watch to take a pic of the sky and clouds.. then forgot to start it again until 5km later…
Actually ran 8.5km do my watch would register at least 5km 🤪🤪.

Competition season is beginning today!
