PLEASE HELP! The 18th annual Canada Day Runs (5K, 10K and Half Marathon) are on Monday morning and we need more volunteers for a couple of hours to assist with the hydration stops along the route. Just 3 weeks until the 18th annual Canada Day runs. There is no charge for these runs (we'll be passing the hat to cover out-of-pocket expenses), but you MUST WEAR RED! This year we're adding a 5K into the mix in addition to the 10K and Half Marathon distances. Sign up here: https://www.webscorer.com/register?raceid=354588 .

This year we'll be starting from the north end of Harris Park and the half marathoners will be doing a loop of the pond up past Highbury. 5K and 10K runners will do an out-and-back along the path system. This is a wonderfully (mostly) shaded route, so wind and sun should not be a major issue. Here is the Half route: https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=7756994

The timing will be such that runners will be finishing at roughly the same time. We'll start the Half at 8 AM sharp, the 10K at 9 AM sharp and the 5K at 9:30 AM.

Farhi Holdings owns the parking lot down by Harris Park and they've agreed to allow us to use that parking lot until 2 PM, which is lots of time. Thank you Farhi Holdings!

We'll need volunteers along the route to provide hydration to the runners. If you or a family member can help out, please sign up on the registration page above.

And, of course, the Geezer Guys will be hosting 'The Last Hydration Stop' at Gibbons Park. :-)

Please get to Harris Park 30 minutes prior to your start time so that you can collect your race bib. We'll ask the City of London to make sure that the washrooms are open at the forks (Ivey Park) if you need them.
