A little over one year ago, the statue of Amelia Earhart went missing and today, the people of Harbour Grace opened their arms and welcomed Amelia back home. It has been an honour and a privilege to be involved in the process and work to restore the statue to its former beauty along with the amazing crew at Rock Edge Designs she is back where she belongs. Beautiful work Woodrow! It’s always a pleasure working with you.

We've been busy working hard and getting ready for a special July 1st ceremony which will welcome home one of ours. We are looking forward to what will be a moving, historic and emotional ceremony as we dedicate and pay respect to Newfoundland and Labrador's Unknown Soldier. We are reminded that this soldier of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment is returning home after more than one hundred years overseas. He knew these shores, this place, and could have grown up in any of the bays or inlets that mark this land. He could be any one of our family members. This soldier represents all those who have sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation and served so long ago on behalf of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

Please join us at the National War Memorial this July 1st
