Mount Joy Snow Resort

Mount Joy Snow Resort Not-for-profit ski/snowboard hill located 20 minutes SW of Lloydminster. Our hill has a T-bar, tow rope, chalet & concession. Covid protocols are in place.

We also have great trails for summer runners & bikers. Open Saturdays and Sundays 10:00am - 4:00pm Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy a variety of runs with diverse ski and snow terrains – for all skill levels. Please see our website before arriving! Mount Joy offers the following services:

• Full season access and daily lift passes
• Full ski and snowboard rentals, including poles, boots and more


• Snow School for weekly lessons
• Private and group lessons
• Chalet and concession services

Our regular season is Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. MST, usually starting in January and running into March. This is dependent on weather and snow conditions (where regular updates can be found on our website at mountjoyresort.com/snowconditions )

Rendell Park Elementary School and from Lloydminster visited Mount Joy for a Nature's Teachings of the Land experience and enjoyed raspberry leaf tea and bannock. They learnt about the tipi and values to follow in life 🔥
