ALSD family,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that ALSD will be closing indefinitely due to low registration this season.
I (Ali Ricard) want to sincerely thank you for supporting ALSD, for believing in the studio, and for choosing to be a part of our dance home. I am forever grateful to the dancers, teachers, parents and friends who I’ve connected with throughout the years and whom I will always consider to be my DANCE family.
I am forever grateful to the ALSD team - for your commitment, talent, professionalism, love, and support throughout the years. I am beyond grateful to have done it all especially with this beautiful group of teachers, humans, friends, and now family members for life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of something so special and for every memory we shared together.
Dancers - You are MAGICAL! Thank you for making it so easy to come to work, and inspiring me year after year through your creativity and sometimes comedy. I’ll never regret asking to see it “one more time” or counting “5678” at the top of my lungs! Whether it be in class or behind stage, in a bodysuit or in pajama party attire…these memories will be cherished forever and ever. It is an honour to be a part of your dance journey and I’ll carry a little piece of you wherever I go.
Thank you to the Lloydminster community and the Lloydminster Dance Academy for supporting ALSD over the years. The ALSD dancers were able to achieve so much more from the support of our local community and volunteers. A very special mention to Alison Lamont for her continued applause to the dancers at every dance exam, performance, or recital. We know and appreciate the gift of a family-rooted environment through dance because of your legacy. To my immediate family, friends, loved ones, and biggest fans… you mean the world to me!
In all of life’s challenges—whether in running a business, or mastering a difficult routine—I like to remember that passion and kindness are free. Keep your passions alive and always keep your kind heart at the forefront.
