💙🏒 FOREVER #13 | PEYTON WALKER 🏒💙

Today was about honouring a truly incredible young lady who will forever be part of our Steelers family.
During today’s home opener, our U18 AAA PWM Steelers paid a heartfelt tribute to their teammate and friend, Peyton Walker, as we proudly retired her #13 jersey to the rafters of the Cenovus Energy Hub.
We will forever be grateful and honoured to have had Peyton as part of our program. While her time with us was far too short, the impact she made and the memories she leaves behind will last a lifetime.

We are incredibly proud of our athletes for the strength, love and heart they continue to show as they honour Peyton every time they step onto the ice.
To Scott, Stacey and Carson, along with Peyton’s family, friends and teammates, we continue to send our love and biggest hugs. 💙

Once a Steeler, always a Steeler.
Peyton will forever be our #13. Her jersey may now hang from the rafters, but her place in our hearts will never change.

💙 Forever #13. Forever Peyton. 💙

🏒CHAMPIONS ON THE BENCH!

It seems only fitting that after another Canadian Crown Championship win, we introduce two young ladies who played a big part in helping get our U18 AAA PWM Steelers there! 🏆
Please join us in recognizing Jayden Thorpe and Tori DeJong, who return alongside Head Coach, Dan Auchenberg for another season behind the bench!
Their experience, dedication and loyalty to this team and these young athletes do not go unnoticed. Their commitment to developing our players, sharing their knowledge and giving back to the game they love is something we are incredibly grateful for.
We’re proud to have these two as part of our Steelers coaching family and can’t wait to see what this crew continues to accomplish together this season!

We’re excited to welcome Caybri, Brandon and Jaylee to the U15 AA Steelers coaching staff, joining head coach, Stephanie Fischer on the bench this season! 🏒💙
Brandon is no stranger to the Steelers family, making the move down after helping with the U18 AAA Steelers, while Caybri and Jaylee are past Steelers alumni, now giving back to the game and organization they once proudly played for.
There’s something pretty special about seeing former Steelers return to help guide the next generation.
