The U15 Festival started a little slow for our teams, but then gain some traction. The team of girls made it to the semi-finals of the B division while the boys won the C division. It was a great reward for the teamwork, dedication, and talent they show.
And with that, our Junior season comes to an end!
Special appreciation goes out to all the coaches that make our Junior program happen. We're also grateful for the support of the parents all we do. Finally, we'd also like to thank the Legion Branch 259, LTI, and the Junior Slam Series for sponsoring our program.
So much to look forward to in the fall.

It’s been a fantastic experience so far at the U12 and U15 Festival (formerly the Elementary Provincials) at Guelph Curling. The organization and leadership behind this event have created a fun, welcoming, and memorable atmosphere for everyone involved.

Our U12 team may not have come away with a win this time, but they’ve shown incredible teamwork, positive attitudes, and great improvement throughout the weekend.

We’re also excited to have two U15 teams playing into Sunday! The U15 girls are heading into the B quarter-final, while the boys have advanced to the C semi-final. The girls play Sunday at 8:30 AM, and the boys hit the ice at 10:30 AM... Each with the potential to play later in the day. It is wonderful to see their amazing teamwork and comradery on display in combination with their continued skill development.

A great Volunteer and not a bad curler either 😉

📣It's National Volunteer Week! A time to recognize and thank the many volunteers who give their time and energy to strengthen local communities.🎉

This week, we'd like to celebrate a number of volunteers we honoured at our recent Spirit of Community Celebration!

Tom Soltys is a dedicated community builder whose hard work has helped advance affordable housing in North Perth. He played a key role in the Music Hall Apartments project in Listowel, supporting United Housing’s first successful housing capital campaign, and helping move the project into its current construction phase while also supporting pre‑development work on the North Perth Library housing project. Tom was also instrumental in United Housing’s first Community Bond campaign and continues to lead by example as both a donor and investor alongside his wife, Ann. Tom’s commitment to community is matched only by his generosity and thoughtfulness and we appreciate all he does for us. 💙

It is exciting to celebrate the success of our neighbours, the Palmerston Farm Boys, who have an exemplary season of U15 curling.

The Palmerston Farm Boys had a successful weekend at the U15 Players Championship at the Dundas Granite Curling Club! It was a weekend filled with great conversation and time with our curling friends, and great curling against teams we've met during the Slam Series season. This weekend also gave us an opportunity to curl against International teams, including Team Kay from Scotland!

The Farm Boys went undefeated through the round robin, and booked their spot in the Championship game after a big win in the semi final match. A 6-0 win in the finals earned them the title of U15 Players Champions for the 2025/2026 season!

Big thank you to Byron and his team for organizing these incredible opportunities through the Junior Slam Series! Thank you to coach Don for your expertise and support! And a huge thank you to our sponsors and fans for your support and for cheering us on through the season!

We have one more event to go before we wrap up our season of U15 Curling - the U15 Festival at the Guelph and Fergus Curling Clubs, being held April 23rd to 26th!
