n club that welcomes both high school and college students who want to play just for fun or who want to prepare for competition. Beginners are welcome and the club can provide you with a racquet while you try out the game. Instruction is available both for beginners and those who want to improve their competitive level. non-marking running shoes are required and dedicated court shoes are recommended. Six courts are available and birds/shuttles are not supplied but can be purchased on site. The Lindsay Badminton Club dates from 1914 and has been in continual operation since then, except for a few years during the Frist and Second World Wars when play had to be suspended.
