Sei Con Japanese Jiu Jitsu We are a Japanese Jiu Jitsu club that teaches highly effective self-defense for the street. What Is Jiu Jitsu? Give us a try.

Jiu Jitsu is the most practical of all the martial arts. Its primary focus is on highly effective self-defense techniques, along with fitness, coordination, focus and respect. Students learn: lock-ups, takedowns, strikes and controls. No matter what your size, weight, height or age, Jiu Jitsu will help you learn to easily and effectively divert and deflect attacks. Class times

Adult (ages 16 and up) Tuesday and Thursday 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Adult (aged 18+) and Youth (aged 17 and under) monthly memberships - ask for pricing. Drop in fee available - for all ages, not paying monthly, with occasional attendance.

*In addition to the club membership fee, everyone is required to register annually with our governing body, the Ontario Jiu-Jitsu Association (OJA) - (Youth - $25, Adult - $30, Black Belt - $35 + tax).*

Shihan David Honey

Shihan Honey is a Kudan (9th degree) black belt in the martial art of Jiu Jitsu. He has over 50 years of martial arts training, and is chief instructor of Sei Con Jiu Jitsu -- the martial arts club that he founded in 1986. He is a permanent member of the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and has received the Canadian Jiu Jitsu Association's Black Belt of the Year award, as well as the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame's Instructor of the Year award. He has conducted seminars and workshops for other martial arts organizations and schools in Canada, the US and Europe as well as for the OPP, RCMP, FBI, Canadian Military Police, Ministry of Corrections and Canada Customs.

**No Adult class on Thursday, March 20th**

We will be holding a Black Belt ceremony that night, at the club, at 7 pm. All are welcome to attend. Bring your gi's if you wish to participate. Black Belts, bring your katanas as well.

After the ceremony we will be going out to eat and further celebrate. Join in if you wish. Hope to see you there. 🥋🥳👍
