Well, race season is officially back for the #51 “Legacy of the Beast”.
A bit of a shake-down night for us. Feature 1 started P 15 and finished P 14 with some great door-to-door battles. We made a few adjustments heading into Feature 2, started P1 and finished P 12.
Definitely some work to do—time to find some much-needed speed.
Huge thank you to Mike and Jake for all the help, and as always, to Elle, Danielle, Oma and Papa for braving the cold to film and cheer me on.

BOURGEOIS WINS B-MAIN TO MAKE FROSTOBERFEST 50 LAP FEATURE AT FLAMBORO!

Reece Bourgeois Racing made her return to the top of the field in the pure stock B-Main at Flamboro Speedway this past Sunday, leading from start to finish to make the main 50 lap feature. Reece started up front and held off a strong fight from Jake Thompson to make it into the big show.

Reece has had a trying year in her return to Pure Stocks, but yesterday found her rhythm and got to celebrate with a checkered flag! Not only did she win a heat but also FLEW through the field of 30 cars to finish 11th (unofficially). We are so happy for Reece and are proud to see running back up front!!

Well that’s a wrap for Reece’s 2025 race season.
This past Sunday Reece brought her #51 legacy of the beast car to run the biggest race at Flamboro speedway frostoberfest. With almost 50 purestocks signed in and only 30 cars making the main 50 lap feature. Reece started p11 in heat 2. A good battle but came up short finishing 7th so off to the B main she went starting P2. The green flag flew and she never looked back knowing the top 6 from the b main will start the tail of the main feature. Caution came out another restart and again she took off taking the checkered flag for the first time this season in a 20 lap race with a field 23 cars.
The main feature Reece started P23 in a field of 30 of the fastest purestocks in Ontario. What a race it was. She had some good battles throughout the field making nice clean passes. 50 laps a few cautions and restarts and Reece finished 11th on the lead lap and the top finishing female.
Huge thanks to Mike Schmidt and London recreational for putting this huge show on. Thanks to the Casale’s for giving these drivers a place to go have fun on Saturday nights all summer long. Thank you to Matt Young for the use of the spare tire and setup tips. Now to our crew.
Huge thank you to Mike, Jason and Wayne for never giving up on this beatin up integra. To Oma and papa for the great videos, to Elle, uncle Ed and Danielle for coming out to cheer Reece on and celebrate. A great way to end the 2025 season.
Looking forward to getting the 51 into the shop over the winter for a full overhaul.

Saturday September 20 race recap for the #51 legacy of the beast.
After a tough week the week before Mike went out and got the 51 ready to race the Bob McClurkin memorial 30 lapper at Flamboro Speedway.
Bob always made a point to see Reece at the track and at the banquets he will be missed by many purestock drivers.
Reece started P3 in Heat 2 finishing 5th.
The feature line up Reece started P10 Reece finished P16. Some great clean door to door battles. However,
this late into the season and some drivers still need to learn how to actually make a pass and stop driving through others to gain a spot. Yes there’s bumping in racing. One, two tap let them know you’re there but to out right door or drive through someone it’s time this stops. Enoughs enough!!!

Congratulations to Gary Slama on the much deserved win.

Definitely not the way we wanted the race or night to go. Reece started feature 1 at the tail due to not racing the prior week starting P17 out of 20. Ran pretty good for new tire sizes. Finished 16th. Feature 2 she started P2 great battles on the high side until she hit the wall in turn 4. Unfortunately she was taken out of the car by the track safety team and medics due to no feeling in her left leg. After being looked over we were told ambulance unless we wanted to drive her to emerg. Huge thanks to Oma and papa for getting her car home, to Mike, Wayne and uncle Ed for all their work getting her car on the trailer. Thank you to Gary slama for the tiny tire so the boys could get the car rolling and coming to check on her. Elle thank you for keeping her calm and being a great little sister. To all those who sent messages and came to see her before she left this is what true race families and friends do our hearts are so full.
Thank you to west Niagara hospital for taking her in right away, doing tests and checking her over . We are grateful nothing is broken thank goodness was soft tissue massive bruising and no weight bare for a few days. Watching for concussion for next 72 hrs… The Stickers N' Scuffs Community

Tomorrow Saturday September 13 Reece will be making her way to Flamboro Speedway for some racing fun. Big thanks to Lakeside Mobile tires for finding us new tires to get her back out there. Hope to see you all fill the stands tomorrow it’s going to be a great night for racing !!!

Saturday July 19 Reece brought her car to Flamboro Speedway. Since she didn’t run the weekend prior she found herself starting at the back of the field P15 with a field of 19 finishing 15th.It was a great race, 25 laps no cautions. The field was stacked with lots of great battles throughout great show for the fans.
Feature 2 with the invert Reece started P2. Lots of fast cars behind her and lots of great racing. Reece had her first top 10 of the season finishing 8th. Now to find some more speed to keep up with these faster cars.
Thank you to Mike,Wayne and uncle Ed helping out Saturday. It was great to have Suzi,Elle,Lina, Jen, Jocelyn and Brooklyn cheering Reece on as well.

Last night was full of …… at Flamboro Speedway.. Feature 1 Reece started 4th and losing power off and on during the race finished 15th. Worked out some issues (so we thought) . Feature 2 she came off before the feature started again power issues. With a good bump start she was heading back out before the green starting P2. With an on track incident and major damage to her drivers door and rear end her race ended on lap 2 sitting in 4th.. Great control of the driver as she could have potentially taken out half the field. Proud of you kiddo. We are not sure when she will be returning at this point as she is running her car on her own funds this year.
A huge thanks to the SOMA(Pro-4) 97 team for the help getting her back out there some stand up kids for sure.
As always we want to thank Oma and papa for the videos and commentating and battling the June bugs up there. To Brenda, Lorna and Brayden for being her number one fans cheering and yelling from the grandstands. To our amazing pit team, Mike, Wayne, uncle Ed thank you for the work you guys put in trying to figure this power issue out.
