Thank you to each and everyone of you, the constant follow through, showing up and achieving makes this season great for all parents and players. Thank you to all of our players and parents for a great hockey season! Your commitment, support, and positive attitudes helped make the year enjoyable for everyone involved. From practices and games to tournaments and team events, it takes a lot of teamwork both on and off the ice to make a season run smoothly. We appreciate all the time, effort, and encouragement you brought throughout the year. Thank you for being such an important part of our hockey community!

Great event put on by Lillooet Rec Centre, Canuck’s, Isparc and LiUna! Was wonderful to see so many kids out at the ball hockey event! LDMHA even managed to get a signed goalie jersey by none other than Kirk McLean! Congratulations to District of Lillooet - Lillooet Rec Centre for winning $100,000 for upgrades !

The Female Director for LDMHA supports and promotes female hockey within the association while helping create a positive and inclusive environment for all players. This role works closely with players, families, coaches, and board members to encourage participation and support player development throughout the season. Responsibilities include promoting female hockey initiatives, assisting with recruitment and retention of female players, communicating development opportunities and camps, supporting female teams and staff, attending board meetings, and helping ensure a respectful and supportive team culture within the association.

Any updates, changes, or conflicts with ice times are communicated promptly to coaches and managers, ensuring teams are well-informed and able to adjust as needed. This helps minimize confusion and keeps practices and games running on time.

In addition, the Ice Ambassador may communicate and coordinate with other associations regarding shared ice usage, game scheduling, or changes that impact multiple teams. This requires professionalism, organization, and the ability to manage information accurately.

The Concession Manager plans menu items, sets pricing, and manages the ordering and inventory of all food, beverages, and supplies. Regular reporting to the board helps ensure transparency and alignment with the association’s budget and goals.

They also provide basic training on food handling, safety procedures, and the use of concession equipment to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

The role includes maintaining cleanliness and organization of the concession area, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met, and that proper food handling standards are followed. The Concession Manager also monitors equipment, arranging maintenance or repairs as needed to avoid disruptions.
