Team Lethbridge - Southern Alberta Summer Games

Team Lethbridge - Southern Alberta Summer Games Join Team Lethbridge at the 2026 SASG held July 8-11 in the County of Forty Mile (Bow Island). Typically the City of Lethbridge is represented by 350+ athletes.

Residents of Lethbridge are encouraged to register for this year’s Southern Alberta Summer Games (SASG) to participate in 25 competitive events – from cribbage to photography; archery to beach volleyball; 3 on 3 basketball to equestrian; and much more. This year’s events will take place from July 3 to 6th in the Town of Pincher Creek. All ages and levels of competition are needed to represent the

City of Lethbridge at the Games. The SASG is a grassroots festival emphasizing physical and social involvement for everyone. Regardless of one’s motivation or skill level there are numerous opportunities for newer or seasoned athletes alike to participate. In addition to the athletic events there will be a variety of other activities for participants and the public to enjoy. An estimated 3,000 athletes will converge on the Town of Pincher Creek, from areas throughout Southern Alberta; representing thirteen regions from Medicine Hat to the Crowsnest Pass. The registration fee is $35 and enables athletes to participate in up to 3 sports/activities; competitor t-shirts are included in the fee. Mini Soccer consists of U7, U9, and U11 teams!

Regular Soccer consists of U13, U15, and U18 teams!

To get involved with soccer in the Games, you must register for play-ins. Once you make the team then you register for the Games! Please note that Soccer and Mini Soccer will be hosted in Raymond this year while the rest of the Games will take place in the County of 40 Mile (Bow Island).

🚨Thinking about Baseball or Ball Hockey at the 2026 Southern Alberta Summer Games? You do NOT need to already have a full team to register!🚨

Ball hockey🥅:
Register on your own, with a friend, or with a full team. No tryouts required!
Team size for full teams: 10-15 players
Ball Hockey Age groups: U10, U12, U14, U17, and 17+

Baseball⚾️:
Simply register in your age category - no team needed and no tryouts (no elite teams).
Baseball age groups: 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15
Maximum roster sizes:
Minor/major Baseball: 14 players
Senior Baseball: 18 players
