Been a hot minute since this page was last updated.
We opened up our 2023 season at Point Pelee Karting Club May 27 & 28. I decided that after a 30 year hiatus from karting, that it was time to jump back in to the game.
Abigail started the season off right where she left off last season, coming out of the gate collecting 3 heat wins and 2 feature wins.
Samuel did just about the same and picked up his first feature win Saturday to open up his 2023 season.
My plan was to go out this weekend and just ride around to reacquaint myself with the track, g-loads and wheel to wheel competition. Well, that all changed when I found myself leading a heat race. With this first win, I'll now be turning some harder laps and hopefully be able to run with the rest of the class throughout the season. Barring mechanical DNF's, of which I suffered two of on Sunday.
Nate Hunter (1st), Matt Molnar (2nd) and Chad Gibbs (3rd) rounded out the Podium Sunday. All TaG karts and drivers are from our stable.
