Lakeshore Horse Racing Association We are a horse harness racing track in Leamington, Ontario and race Sundays from August 9th through October 25th 2026.

Our Mission:
Lakeshore Horse Racing Association’s mission is to inspire and promote positive change and growth to the harness horse industry in Ontario. Lakeshore Horse Racing Association, is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization with a board of directors, and holds a annual meeting each year. The non profit model has proven around the world to have the highest standards of quality racing, care for horses, safety, and enjoyable consumer experience

LEAMINGTON RACEWAY’S TOP DRIVER & TRAINER!

The 2026 meet at Leamington Raceway wrapped up on Sunday, October 25, with Nick Steward and Cameron McQueen finishing atop the driver and trainer standings!

TOP DRIVER: NICK STEWARD
Steward captured the driving title with 19 wins, while also leading all drivers in earnings with $95,962.

TOP TRAINER: CAMERON McQUEEN
McQueen secured his third consecutive training title, finishing the meet with 16 victories — seven more than runner-up Michael Stamp. McQueen also led all trainers in earnings with $70,734.

We’ll also feature the Lakeshore Cup as we wrap up another exciting season of racing!

All of us at Leamington Raceway are sending our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family and loved ones of Scott Knight during this difficult time. Our deepest condolences go out to everyone who knew and loved him.

Scott Knight, one of Western Canadian harness racing's top drivers for the past quarter century, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 18 at the age of 52.
