👏
Eating clean for years, but your weight still wouldn’t budge? Is this you, too?
I was watching my macros.
Counting calories.
Creating a deficit.
Drinking more water.
Going to workout classes.
Trying to do everything “right.”
And still…nothing was changing.
I was frustrated—not only with how I looked, but with how I felt.
So I made a decision.
Instead of trying another plan, I sat down and took an honest look at what I was doing, how I was living, and whether my daily choices were actually aligned with the woman I said I wanted to become.
And I realized something that changed everything:
The woman I wanted to become wasn’t somewhere in the future.
She wasn’t a goal I had to someday achieve.
She was already within me.
I simply had to start making the decisions she would make.
For years, I had what I called “reasons.”
The kids.
My husband.
Being tired.
Not having enough time.
Life being busy.
Perimenopause.
Whatever circumstance made it easier to believe that this just wasn’t the right time.
But eventually, I had to stop asking, “What is preventing me?”
And start asking:
“What would she do?”
As a nutrition coach, I already knew what to do.
What I needed was accountability, structure, and someone to challenge me to follow through.
So I hired a coach—and I got to work.
Step 1: I set the standards for the woman I wanted to be.
Step 2: I stopped allowing my circumstances to determine whether I would live by those standards.
Step 3: I became her—one decision at a time.
That shift changed far more than my weight.
It changed the way I showed up for myself.
And this is the foundation of what I now teach through The Standard Method™:
You don't need to spend your life chasing another goal.
You need to establish the standards that define who you are—and learn to live by them.
If you're ready to stop starting over and start becoming the person you know you're capable of being, comment STANDARDS or DM me.
I'll show you where to begin.
