The Pelee Shop The Pelee Shop is an e-commerce website selling a range of Pelee Island themed products!

It’s our way of helping bring a piece of the Island to you wherever you may be. The Pelee Shop is a souvenir and rental shop located just a short walk from the ferry dock on the west side of Pelee Island. We carry a range of souvenirs including t-shirts, sweaters, stickers, patches, hats, shot glasses, and magnets. In addition, we also keep a small stock of essential items such as sunscreen, tooth

brushes, bug spray, feminine hygiene products, pain and anti-nauseant medications, and diapers. If you're looking for a way to get around Pelee Island we have a fleet of nearly 150 bikes, adult tricycles, tandem bikes, kids bikes, e-bikes, and bike trailers available for rent!

This doesn’t really have anything to do with The Pelee Shop buuuuut, I thought it was worth sharing.

I was just doing some updates on The Pelee Grapevine website while trying to procrastinate other things and realized that there are a lot of things going on this summer. I don’t really think there much more than any other summer but I just never really paid much attention I guess. There’s a lot of overlap and a lot of redundant events but still there’s a lot!

Consider this my PSA to get out this summer to check out all of the fun and often times free events from great Pelee Island organizations like Stone & Sky, The Pelee Buzz, Pelee Artworks, Stonehill Estates, Celebrate Pelee, and more!

Let’s go for a walk outside and see what we can see! Bring one of these field guides with you because they’re super neat and might teach you something!

We have a few people looking for these and others who already had them showing theirs off. We thought they were way too cool to pass up so I went on a hunt to figure out where to get these things from.

We’ve got 12 different guides, and a few more on the way when they come in stock. There’s a number of Sibley bird guides, a Sibley tree guide, and from other experts we’ve got wildflowers, butterflies, caterpillars, and fishes! We always do our best to ensure these types of things are as geographically and ecologically relevant to Pelee Island as possible.

And remember, if we’re here we’re open! These are just our “guaranteed hours” we rarely leave on time and we usually don’t shut off the open sign until the doors are locked. Come in, we don’t mind! Someone’s gotta be open around here!

We’re all stocked up with whatever you need to get through the weekend!

Firewood, ice, milk, eggs, s’mores essentials, BBQ stuff, buns to go with BBQ stuff, snacks, ice cream, things to go with whatever you buy from the LCBO next door, sunscreen, bug spray, and theres more but I’m sure you get the point!

I finally picked up our first load of dairy yesterday morning! No we’re not trying to be the co-op but yes we are trying to get some more of the convenience items we’ve been asked about numerous times.

We’ve got milk (chocolate, 2%, 1% small bottles, and lactose free), cream, butter, cheese, eggs, cream cheese, yogurt, and helical dip. There’s a few things we realized that we forgot to get so next time maybe we’ll have more.

If there’s something you’d like to see us stock just ask and we’ll see what we can do!
