This event has always been about community and kids. The sponsors and supporters have come in huge this year! Prize bags, trophies, posters, swag, food, draw prizes, good times for This year we have a very special keepsake for the participating kids. 🏆

Tropics really heating up... 3 systems now watching!

The first system that we have been monitoring for a few days have really become better organized in past 12 hours or so, and there is a high ( 70%) chance that the storm will become a Tropical Storm Dexter sometime tonight or tomorrow... this system as of now looks to stay just offshore as it heads North East.

Main threats with this system is mainly for Marine folks and Marine life.

- Large Waves
- Life Threatening rip currents

These impacts are very likely by mid-week.

2nd System..... A tropical wave has finally moved off the coast of Africa, conditions seem to be favorable for additional development, and a Tropical Depression, Storm or Hurricane could form later next week, this system will move and track to the West & North West.

Lastly our 3rd System... A coastal storm could develop in a few days, this system is likely to become stationary over a few days and could come close to our area by later next weekend or early of the week after, Any impacts from this system as of now looks to be some *beneficial* rainfall and Gusty winds.

We will continue to watch the tropics and the development of these storms and update the latest when needed!
