Dancing with the Stars has officially found its newest pro!

Adele Zaikman has earned a spot on Season 35 after winning the inaugural season of Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro, a competition that saw 12 rising dancers battle for a place in the ballroom.

Born in Israel to Ukrainian parents, Adele started dancing when she was just six years old and has since become an accomplished competitive Latin dancer.

Her journey hasn’t always been easy. At 13, Adele was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to wear a brace for 20 hours a day for two and a half years. During the four hours she was able to take it off, she continued dancing and refused to give up on her dream.

That determination eventually took her to major international competitions, including the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival, where she won an event in 2022.

Adele also caught the attention of Derek Hough during The Next Pro, with Derek nicknaming her the “Rolls-Royce” because she “dances expensive.”

After winning the competition, Adele will now join Dancing with the Stars as a professional dancer for Season 35, fulfilling a dream she’s had since she was a little girl.
