Following the recent passing of Vassili Cremanzidis, who’s father Chris, has been a referee with QCSL Soccer Leagues for over 25 years, and in light of the outpouring of love and support in his memory, we felt it was important to honor him in a meaningful and lasting way.

To commemorate his legacy, QCSL Soccer Leagues has decided that, moving forward, all referee jerseys will feature a commemorative patch bearing Vassili’s initials, “VC”.

His memory and contribution to the sport he loved, will remain on the pitch, always.

It is with great sadness that the QCSL family learned of the passing of Vassili Cremanzidis, beloved son of Chris Cremanzidis, who has been a referee with QCSL Soccer Leagues for over 25 years.

A respected figure in the Montréal soccer community, Vassili left a lasting mark through his passion, dedication, and professionalism. A brilliant young man, he inspired many and his contributions to the sport will never be forgotten.

On behalf of the entire QCSL family, we offer our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and everyone affected by his loss. Our thoughts are with them in these difficult times.
