Kil's Taekwondo Tournament:

Hello everyone!

I want to congratulate all the students who did their best in the Kil's Taekwondo Tournament. For some of you who participated, this was your first ever competition and I am so glad you pushed yourself to try out here. All of you who joined us now have a better grasp on your techniques/skills and hopefully won't be as neverous in future competitions.

I wanted to give a special congratulations for Emilia Muntean who won the Grand Championship and hope she will continue to impress me with her skills.

Thank you for everyone who decided to join the students in the stands. I believe the support from family and friends are incredibly important for those who compete and wish everyone has someone to rely on when the nerves get bad.

I hope to see more students compete in the future to push themselves to become a better student, to become a better teacher and to become their best self.

We recently came back from a competition in London on April 12th. As it was our first official competition I was not holding an incredibly high expectation as the nerves and inexperience would make any athlete create mistakes, however I was simply blown away by how well we did.

We won a total of 8 gold, 7 silver and 8 bronze medals. All the students did a phenomenal job listening to their respective coaches and taking their corrections to do even better. I believe that even those who did not do as well as they believe they could have this time will surely excel next time.

For the students who did not receive any medals, please do not be disappointed, there will be many chances in the future and we can work towards those goals in our upcoming athlete classes.

I would like to apologize for anyone I haven't uploaded a photo of as I was mainly focused on coaching so I could not get everyone, hopefully we will have more photos to help us remember these events in the future with more time.

I am incredibly proud of all you who decided to join us and hope that many more of you will be joining us in the future as this is just the beginning.

Thank you again to both the parents who came to cheer on their kids as I believe being there makes a difference, and to the students for trying to push themselves by joining these competitions.

Thank you to everyone who decided to come join us for the second Stronger Together event!

This was a wonderful experience and everyone there seemed to enjoy it. I hope in the future more people will come participate and allow us to hold an even larger event.

This time 5 different dojangs came together to make this event a possibility. I will upload a video the organizers created if you wish to view it in the next post as I have attached photos in this one.

A special thank you to all the parents who came along to cheer their kids on, I believe encouragement at a young age is critical for development.

We recently received this box from Kukkiwon with a letter reading:

Dear Family and Friends,

We have something truly wonderful to celebrate! 🎉

Instructor Max has successfully passed the RCMP final and graduated, marking a significant milestone in his journey. For about 7 years, Max trained diligently at YUNHAP Taekwondo, and for the past 3 years, he has been an inspiring instructor, sharing his knowledge and passion with our students.

From the very beginning, Max's dream was to become a police officer. Throughout his Taekwondo training, his dedication to this goal never wavered. Now, he is on the brink of making this dream a reality as he prepares to move to British Columbia to begin his career with the RCMP.

We are incredibly proud of Max's achievements and the perseverance he has shown. His journey is a testament to the power of hard work, determination, and the indomitable Taekwondo spirit. As he embarks on this new chapter, we hope he continues to embody the values he has learned and achieves all his dreams.

Please join us in congratulating Max on this remarkable accomplishment. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors and know that he will make a positive impact wherever he goes.

Hello everyone,

I would first like to thank everyone who came out with us to the Governors Cup competition on May 11th. Out of the 15 students from our dojang, Instructor Daniel has won first place in sparring, forms and breaking board. He has come on top to win the Grand Championship at this event.

I am very proud of our students, for all of them have received either a gold, silver and bronze medal. I hope in the upcoming events we have the same energy and recieve good standings.

The following pictures are from our recent Stronger Together Taekwondo Camp

During the camp, all students who came learned more solid taekwondo foundations and how to spar better with the addition of practice.

The champion height for the jumping front snap kick was 8ft tall and a blue belt and white stripe was able to reach it. (Their picture is shown below).

All participants were given a free t-shirt and medals. Those who succeeded the high kick challenge were also given a trophy.

The event was held from 10am until 4pm and everyone was provided with a free lunch. This camp was a huge success this time with many people enjoying it.

The Stronger Together event started here in Windsor, Ontario, with only 3 taekwondo clubs but we will be hosting more events in the future with more dojangs/clubs. Although we had 70 participants this time, we will be limiting the amount of students to 100 in future events under this name.

This event was an incredible and exciting. I am hoping to see more of you again next time.
