Langley Baseball Association has over 50 years’ experience as a Little League ball club. We’re proud to have sent many teams over the years to the Provincials, Nationals and World Championships including the 2011 World Series Championship in Williamsport, VA and our participation in the 2000 17-18 district-based team who also took the World Championships. Just recently 4 of our Big League players
won the 2013 Canadian Nationals playing for the District team, and 2 of our Senior League players advanced to the Nationals with their District team! Our 2011 Champs undertook another adventure and travelled to Uganda to compete with Team Uganda as part of a documentary called "Fair Ball", a moving film created by Sportsnet about "the game that never was". Watch and learn what baseball really means to the kids and what Langley Baseball is all about. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/2012/04/01/fair_ball_baseball_documentary_sportsnet/
"To say we’re an enthusiastic and supportive ball club might just be an understatement!"
In the past 54 years we have hosted numerous District and Provincial Tournaments, more recently including the highly successful 2012 Challenger Provincials at our City Park fields. The facility is ideal for tournaments with 4 diamonds, batting cage, concession, central Langley location and nearby park and amenities. Visitors to the area enjoy our urban/rural community of Langley that has an inspiring mix of cosmopolitan amenities and abundance of scenic farmland with outdoor recreational pursuits. The club has a dedicated volunteer base that’s skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working. They’ve been the heart of the club for over 50 years, holding the vision and creating the positive, enriching environment for our kids. Our kids are the life of the club. Each athlete has a passion for the game and discovers personal growth and confidence when they take their spot on the field.
“Little League is what baseball is all about. It cultures a lifetime of love for sport.”
