Not a Zumba post but every once in a while something comes up at DFD that we think might be of interest to some of our Zumba members. Here's the latest such idea!
Ladies, come and dance! Join instructor Gigi for fun, inspirational classes based on Argentine Tango. Have fun, be inspired, move, dance and learn an exciting choreographed routine culminating in a performance on Saturday, May 31!
From Feb 6th-May 29th 6:30pm-7:30pm at DFD

$244.80 (costumes are not included)
Registration fees can be made in installments as long as the commitment to carry on is there.

The idea for this formation team is to give women a chance to dance more and to develop their dancing skills without having to have a partner to practice with.
It will strengthen your skills and movement control no matter what your favorite dance genre is.
There will be some additional costs such as for costumes. These will be decided by the group closer to the event so I can't tell you what the costs will be right now but usually formation teams try to work with what people already have.
Dancing a choreographed routine is a great opportunity to hone your dancing skills and experience the thrill of performing! By participating you will work on poise, foot swivel, arm styling - among many other things - and most importantly you will have a great time doing it.
Open to all ladies with some dance experience or new dancers willing to work hard! The choreography will be Argentine Tango-based but you DO NOT need to have Argentine Tango experience to participate.
About Gigi
Gigi has an extensive background in ballet, ballroom, Latin, Argentine Tango and, with nearly 30 years of teaching experience, she is one of the most well rounded and sought after dance instructors in the Lower Mainland.
Gigi has been a member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association and The Canadian Dance Teachers Federation World Dance Organization. She has performed on stage and screen and has a long list of certifications, successful competitions and professional experiences.
She is a versatile instructor, having taught youth, future teachers and social dancers of all ages and backgrounds in all genres of social dance; both American Style ballroom, Latin, Rhythm as well as the dance she is most passionate about, the Argentine Tango.
