Langley Gymnastics Foundation (LGF) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the Langley and surrounding communities with gymnastics programs focused on physical fitness and FUNdamentals since 1991. We provide a variety of gymnastics programming, including recreational classes, drop in playtimes, a preschool, special needs classes, and competitive training. Our mission is to provide the

highest quality gymnastics programs for beginner recreational to high-level competitive athletes, and we rely on the incredible ongoing support of the community to help us continually enhance and grow our gymnastics programs.

Summer 2026 is officially coming to an end, and what a season it’s been! ☀️

From playground sessions and cooling off at the waterpark to creating craft masterpieces, building foam pit forts, and bright chalk art, our campers brought the energy and smiles every single week!

It’s official! We have said goodbye (a see you later 😉) to these amazing graduates who are moving on from LGF, but have left a forever legacy 🌟💫
In preparation to take these next big steps, they left their mark on our hearts and walls. It is an LGF tradition to leave an inspiring quote that kept them going 🥹We are beyond proud to celebrate these incredible young women as they move on to their next chapters, including THREE athletes who achieved their ultimate lifelong dream of signing to compete at the collegiate level in the NCAA!

✨ Selena (Winona State University) A quiet leader known for her kindness and work ethic, Selena had a standout club gymnastics career. After many years of international competitions and provincial champion titles, she is going to compete in the NCAA at WSU!

✨ Carrie (Brigham Young University) The CCP 8 Athlete of the Year, Provincial Champion, and Westerns silver medalist, Carrie has grown up at LGF since age 6 while also serving as an inspiring coach and judge. What a phenomenal senior year, making Westerns for the first time! She’s heading to BYU in the fall!

✨ Vanessa (Michigan State University) Overcoming a severe injury, Vanessa took a leap of faith joining LGF for her senior year and crushed it, earning bronze at both Westerns and Nationals. Her unbelievable resilience paid off, securing her NCAA scholarship to compete for MSU!

✨ Josie (Northern Illinois University) Known for her exceptional artistry, she won the Choreography Award at Nationals, the 2026 National Vault Champion, and finished 4th All-Around in Canada. She is a true mentor, whether it is helping the little ones do hair before competition, or choreographing routines, she is taking her talents the NCAA at NIU!

✨ Sam (Douglas College) Starting at LGF in parent-and-tot at age 2, Sam overcame major mental blocks to have a massive breakthrough season, making Nationals for the first time and earning 2026’s Christy Fraser Award. She now heads to Douglas College to pursue her Nursing degree!

📍 MAG Novice & Junior Elite Camp
Our Novice and Junior national team hopefuls headed to Montreal to train at the Institut national du sport du Québec (INS), the national training centre! Intense training sessions, incredible focus, and invaluable experience learning alongside top talent in the country with INS Québec

📍 Flicka’s Extravaganza Training Camp
Our WAG athletes brought the heat at Flicka! Between event-specific skill building, strength conditioning, and specialized clinics, the team put in serious work, and had a blast working on these combos! 💃Thank you Flicka Gymnastics Club for hosting!

Are you passionate about gymnastics and inspiring young athletes? LGF is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Part-Time Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team! 🤍🩵💚

What You’ll Do: As a Recreational Gymnastics Coach, you’ll be the spark that ignites a love for gymnastics! You’ll lead fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classes for children and youth, creating a safe and positive environment where they can build confidence and develop fundamental skills.

Part-time: 5-25 hours per week (depending on availability), with evenings and weekends availability required

Qualifications:
- Previous experience coaching or teaching gymnastics (1 year required)

- Strong knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and safe coaching practices

- NCCP Foundations Trained (including Safe Sport, Respect in Sport, and Making Ethical Decisions)

- Ability to motivate and engage children through positive reinforcement

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (can be done upon on-boarding)

Whether you’re a former gymnast wanting to see if that muscle memory is still there, or a complete beginner who has never done gymnastics before, this class is for you. Perfect way to spend your summer evenings, with access to various equipment!

No pressure, no expectations. This is a work-at-your-own-pace environment where the goal is simply to have fun, build strength, and learn cool skills.

Class of 2026, you have left a legacy! 🎓

We are incredibly privileged to have watched this remarkable group of athletes dedicate themselves to gymnastics all the way through to their senior year. In fact, two of these athletes have been with Langley Gymnastics for their entire gymnastics career, we have literally watched them grow up at LGF since they were just 2 years old! 🥹❤️Their hard work inside and outside the gym has paid off, and every single one of them is pursuing post-secondary education this fall! 📚💪

Even more exciting? Five of these athletes are continuing their competitive gymnastics careers after high school! 🤸🤸‍♂️

We are so proud to announce that three of our incredible WAG athletes will be heading to US universities on athletic scholarships this coming year! With these newest signings, LGF has now sent 6 WAG athletes to NCAA programs on athletic scholarships in just the last 3 years! This brings our club total to 9 athletes recruited to American schools on athletic scholarships 🇨🇦✈️

AN INTERNATIONAL MILESTONE 🌍👏

A massive congratulations and an even bigger thank you to Reuben Dykstra for his incredible performance, representing Canada at the 2026 Pan American Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! 🇧🇷

Over 27 countries were in attendance, facing a highly competitive international field, Reuben and the Junior Men’s Team (alongside Thomas Tittley, Jaydon De Silva, and Édouard Nadeau) absolutely crushed it, bringing home a SILVER medal with a massive score of 220.761! 🥈🤩

He was grouped with the best of the best! This isn’t just an international medal, he has made LGF History! 🏆
Reuben, your hard work, dedication, and talent have left us all speechless. Thank you for putting your heart into every routine and representing Canada and LGF on the world 📍🇨🇦✨

A night of celebrating the incredible team behind Langley Gymnastics Foundation! Join me in congratulating our first batch of winners: coach and staff awards🏆

We wrapped up our season at the year-end banquet, and we couldn’t be prouder of the coaches, staff, and volunteers who pour their hearts into our athletes every single day. Swipe through to meet this year’s well-deserved award winners, and a little bit about them! ➡️

👑 Coach of the Year: Ekaterina Lobaznyuk (Kat)
Kat is the heart and soul of LGF. From keeping our gym safe, clean, and functioning as Equipment Coordinator, to bringing Olympic-level wisdom to both our competitive athletes and adult classes, she lives and breathes gymnastics. If the gym lights are on at midnight, or if someone needs her on her day off, there is a 99% chance she is in the building. She is the first to step in and help set up a massive drill, share a brilliant coaching idea, or offer mentorship to anyone who asks. She has been known to be the go-to person for shadowing coaches, and has truly impacted the development of many young coaches. She brings the exact same passion to helping athletes in the adult class learn their very first handstand, as she does helping former competitive gymnasts find their love for the sport again at adult competitions, even if it means coming back to the gym to work a split shift just to make it happen. She has a rare gift for balancing groups with vastly different skill levels. Under her watch, no one ever feels left out, and she always makes it work. She’s been known to take young athletes who have the drive to compete and pushes them to their absolute highest potential. Kat’s dedication this year led her athletes to BC Winter Games and multiple All-Around Provincial Champion titles. Thank you for your 10+ years of endless heart!

The ultimate definition of a team player! She is a fast learner who can handle absolutely anything you throw at her. Haley is the quiet force working tirelessly behind the scenes, whether she’s: tracking down last-minute subs at midnight, answering emails, mentoring new coaches, leading a field trip, or bringing joy to our tiniest
