Today marks the start of the 50th Annual Dennis Hickey Memorial Lacrosse Tournament.

Today, we honour Dennis - his life, his impact, his legacy, and his family who continues to share his story with our lacrosse community.

What began as a tribute has become a tradition that has touched generations of players, coaches, officials, and families. Dennis’ passion for the game continues to inspire us all, 50 years later.

Here’s to a great weekend of lacrosse, lasting memories, and celebrating the life and legacy of Dennis Hickey.

That’s a wrap on ThunderCup 2026 - it was an awesome weekend and we definitely have some important people to thank for the success of this tournament!
To the volunteers - there wouldn’t be a Thunder Cup without you! Thank you to every one of you for the time and energy you give to make this weekend what it is!
