Local Curling Club for Langley, BC Canada

Located in the George Preston Recreation Center, the curling facility is owned by the Township of Langley, but managed by the Club Manager Robyn Parkes. The Langley Curling Club has over 800 long-time and new curlers, which makes us one of the largest clubs in BC, and boasts few unused curling times. The club has on ice cameras & 22” monitors for better v

iewing of the “away” end. We have a very active school program and host many Curl BC play-downs and bonspiels. Our club is home for the World Junior Men’s champions – Team Tardi. The club has a very well stocked and well-priced pro shop for all your curling needs. Check out the website for more information, or call the club manager. We have great beginners leagues.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Darryl Neighbour at the age of 78.

Darryl threw third on the Canadian wheelchair curling team that beat South Korea to win gold at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, alongside Jim Armstrong, Sonja Gaudet, Ina Forrest and Bruno Yizek. He won three national titles and was inducted into the Curling Canada Hall of Fame in 2016

Our thoughts are with Darryl's family, his teammates, and everyone across the wheelchair curling community.
