The course is still heavy with snow, sent the reels off the greens mowers to get rebuilt and sharpened, so we should be ready for early May, hopefully, but as l look outside l am beginning to wonder.

Hi every one, its getting close to that season. We have about 50 golf clubs that were left on the course over the years, come and claim yours, or else they are all going to second hand store

We are now open for golfing if only the weather co-operates. The course wintered fairly well, using temporary greens on 2 holes but hope to have them recovered quickly. The rest of the course is in good shape, especially the fairways, have not seen them in this good shape before. Happy Golfing

Plans were to open April 28 but looks like plans are changed - the spring snow has covered the course again.

As you can tell by the pictures I just posted, looks like golf is a couple weeks away yet for Elk Island. Was hoping for May 8th, but realistically probably May 15th :(
