Ladysmith Chemainus Orcas Swim Club

Ladysmith Chemainus Orcas Swim Club Our nationally successful Swim Club is about building self esteem and character through sportsmanship. Our club has a spot for kids of all ages and abilities.

We have kids as young as 5 all the way up to 18 years of age. The ability of our swimmers starts at swimming 5 m on their own up to national level athletes. The goal of our club is to equip each member with life skills while having a desire to see them succeed in and out of the pool. We travel for competitions, mainly in the Island, as well as do in house events. Registration is on going and there

fore you can always join the Orcas. I hope to see you in the pool and if you have any questions please contact us!

Congratulations to Orca Swimmer, Colton, who competed at the Speedo Canadian Open Swimming Championships in Edmonton over the weekend. He achieved several personal bests, swam in finals in most events and had the opportunity to swim against several Canadian Olympians!

Last night he led the mixed relay and together his team came in 3rd!
