-Coordinating and promoting sport, recreation, leisure and culture programs, events, and services
-Fostering partnership

-Providing required advice and resources to recreation groups
-Partnering with recreation groups to provide events and programs
-Increasing public awareness of recreation and healthy living services and important information
-Participating in local, regional, and provincial recreation organizations

Give your child the confidence and skills to stay safe when home alone or out in the community!
The Stay Safe! Course teaches practical safety skills in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate environment.
📚 Participants Will Learn:

Lac du Bonnet Recreation is now accepting applications from qualified persons for part-time Lifeguard/Swim Instructor positions at the Town Dock in Lac du Bonnet for July and August with the potential of full-time hours. Must be available to work weekends.

Required Qualifications
-Minimum 16 years of age
-Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
-Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS)
-Current Swim for Life Instructor
-Clear current Child Abuse Registry check
-Clear current Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector check

Recreation Opportunities for Children (ROC) Eastman will be in Town of Lac du Bonnet tomorrow!

It’s time for SPRING 🌸 and SUMMER🌻activities! Which also means it’s time for the first round of our Recreation Opportunities for Children (ROC) Eastman Delivery & Donation Days!

Here’s all the info:
ROC (Recreation Opportunities for Children) Eastman receives gently used, donated equipment that we are excited to share with those who need it!

Twice a year (early spring & early fall) we load up what we have and tour Eastman, delivering activity supplies and sports equipment to kiddos around the region who would like to participate in activities but find equipment is a barrier. There is no cost - we just love to share the generosity of our donors with you!

Have equipment you no longer need? Please stop by to drop off donations or swap for something different!

Our Spring 2026 Schedule:

Saturday • April 11
• 11:15-12:15pm Beausejour Network 4 Change Community Resource Center parking lot
• 3:30-4:30pm Lac du Bonnet infront of Mrs. Lucci’s Resource Centre

Saturday • April 18
11:30-12:30 Powerview-Pine Falls at Anniversary Park parking lot (tentative)

Saturday • May 2
5:00-6:00pm Manigotagan parked across from Bostroms (tentative)

*South Eastman dates and locations TBD, will be announced soon!*
