***STUDIO UPDATE***

Following the announcements made by the Government of Quebec yesterday gyms are still closed. At least until February 13th.

We are hoping to be allow to reopen right after that date or beginning of March.

We are still here and missing you 🤗

Thank you 🙏🏾 to those who are still training with me online or 1 one1 in person and allowing to bring in some revenue to studio😘

Stay Active and we will update you once we get the go to reopen again for our small group training.

5 THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING A WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM 🧐

Do you have some excess weight you want to lose?  Or some stubborn belly fat you want to get rid of?

I am sure you have some reservations about losing weight or sticking with a program. And this is fine.  Everyone comes into a weight loss program with certain expectations they want to achieve.

But it’s important to know that you’re going to have to work harder on your weight loss than anything else you’ve probably had to deal with in the past.

Here’s 5 things to consider:

✅ Nothing Will Happen Overnight
Yes, you may see some changes in the first few weeks, but losing weight is a long process.

✅The Scale May Not Move
There’s a good chance that the scale will not move when you’re on a weight loss program.  You may be losing inches which is a good sign you’re losing body fat.  

✅ You Do Need To Exercise
The right exercise program one that focuses on strength training and cardiovascular work is going to help you achieve your goal faster.

✅ You’re Going To Feel Better But Starting Will Be Worse
Changing your diet, and eliminating unhealthy habits will be hard at first, and you may lack the motivation to keep going.  But the longer you can stick with it, the better you’re going to feel.

✅ It Will Be The Best Decision Of Your Life.
Not only are you going to be able to change your body, you’re going to see changes in your energy, your motivation, and your mood.

Starting a weight loss program will be the best decision of your life.  But it’s important to know there will be stumbling blocks, and obstacles along the way, that may try to deter you from your ultimate goal.  Make sure you work with a good coach that can help plan it out for you and keep you accountable.

10 TIPS TO STAY ON TRACK
 
✅ Focus on all the foods you CAN eat and not on those that you can’t.

✅ Find support: This can be a friend, lover,family or fellow gym member that can keep you focused on your goals !

✅Wait 10-15 min before taking second your hunger will decrease
 
✅ Avoid eating while watching TV , driving or doing other distracting things. It will reduce overeating.

✅ Sit and relax before eating.
 
✅ Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day but not with meals for optimal digestion.

✅ Plan extra activities in your day ( avoid excess downtime which lead to snacking).

✅ If you slip up on your clean eating, accept it and move on. Have a cheat meal NOT a cheat day or week.

✅ Keep a positive self image and stay positive 😁

✅ Remember it is ultimately up to YOU and you are WORTH IT
