After a string of 90- YES 90- degree days here in Saskatchewan, the temps are finally cooling down and bears are on the move. Will be sharing some bear pics soon!! Check out this awesome bald eagle we saw near camp yesterday.

A lot goes in to running this place. It seems like every year, we face a new and unexpected challenge. Some of that comes with the territory of operating a business in such a remote location, and some of that is just the wildness of where we are. With all of the stress and logistics, it can sometimes feel overwhelming.

But then, once we are here, it's easy to remember why we do what we do. Sitting on the cabin porch, bourbon in hand, watching this every night? No sounds but the cracking of the fire, the small waves lapping the shore, and the occasional bird call. We'll take it every time.

Good morning from Camp George Lake! As always, mother nature loves to throw us curve-balls, and we are at her whim. That being said, we are excited to welcome our first group of hunters for the year. Can't wait to share what we find in the next few weeks. Follow along to stay updated!
