Back control is one of the strongest positions in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu because you’re behind your opponent, where they can’t easily see or reach you. From there, you can control their movement with your legs and stay tight to their back while looking for a choke. It’s less about strength and more about staying connected and patient. When you’re comfortable in back control, you can keep things calm and in your favor while your opponent works hard just to escape.

Le contrôle du dos est une des positions les plus avantageuses en Jiu-Jitsu brésilien, car vous êtes derrière votre adversaire, là où il ne peut pas bien vous voir ni vous atteindre. À partir de là, vous pouvez contrôler ses mouvements avec vos jambes et rester bien collé à son dos tout en cherchant un étranglement. Ce n’est pas une question de force, mais plutôt de connexion et de patience. Quand on est à l’aise dans cette position, on peut rester calme et garder l’avantage pendant que l’autre essaie simplement de s’en sortir.
