Blue Heron Charters Blue Heron Charters is a fishing and cruising vessel on the Douglas Channel at Kitimat, British Colu We frequently sight Humpback, Gray, and Orca whales.

Blue Heron Charters is locally owned and has been in operation for 25 years of fishing and cruising experience on the Douglas Channel. Halibut, Chinook and Coho Salmon, Rockfish, Pacific Grey Cod, Dungeness Crab and Spot Prawn are all available. The occasional Grizzly Bear will also be seen on the tidal flats when trolling or setting crab traps nearby. Our vessel is the 24 foot Skagit Orca with e

xtended cabin. It is Transport Canada licensed, insured and equipped with GPS navigation, sonar, VHF and radar. This vessel has a private washroom and heated interior. Blue Heron docks at MK Bay Marina in Kitimat, British Columbia.
