Hello skaters..happy newyears ..just wanted to put a message out to anyone needing skates sharpened for Saturday..unfortunately I will most likely be working all day tomorrow January 3rd & be closed for that day..i am in the shop this evening until 8pm if you need anything & back for regular shop hours January 5th..thanks

Good afternoon skaters..
Some news for the beginning of 2024 skate season...Sept 1st/24..ive given this alot of thought & with regret ..the current sharpening price for all hockey skates over the last 24 years with me has been $5 & figure skates are currently $9..with absorbent costs of my equipment & all the supplies I need for the business its not feasible for me to continue with those prices..so as of September 1st 2024 all hockey skates will be at $8 a pair & figure skates will be $11 a pair..the 6 pack sharpening cards will be $40 for hockey & $55 for figure skates..I will honor all the previous sharpening cards I keep on file for everyone at the old prices until there used up..thankyou..

Hello all skaters..welcome to a new season..just wanted to clear up some comments that have come to my skate shop at tamitik in regards to me no longer sharpening skates...THIS IS NOT TRUE..I am in the skate shop doing my regular hours of 4-8pm on weekdays..Saturdays are 12 to 5pm but could be longer with tournaments & events ..most Sundays I will be closed ...again with exceptions to tournaments & events at arenas ...I would also like to mention that I'm not just a hockey skate sharpener..after 24 years in this business & thousands of sharpenings ..I do consider myself a professional sharpener of all skates..so to keep my words professional as some untrue rumors & comments float around..I'd just like to say SPARKYS EDGE is here & committed to providing the best service I can do for our community & all my costumers..big thanks to the district of kitimat in providing me a great space to conduct my business & to the great people who come to my shop..thanks again..

Hello skaters..just a quick welcome back to the ice starting Monday the 15th...my regular hours of 4-8pm weekdays starts on Sept 1st..but I will be coming into the shop a few evenings prior & on appts if anyone needs there skates sharpened..I will be in this Monday the 15th at 5pm until 8pm to get who ever needs a sharpening..stay sharp & stay in the game..thanks..
