Hello everyone.
I’d like to take a moment and Introduce myself
My name is Crystal, although I don’t live in Kitimat my family and I have been fishing the Kitimat river and ocean since 2011. We love Kitimat and the residents of the area.

I have been given the opportunity to help with the 2nd annual King of the Springs Tournament in June 2027.

We are truly so excited for what’s brewing up for 2027 and for the years to come.

Some major changes for next year. There will be no more gut a gilled. It will be full fish with chinook scaffolding doing fish inspections soon as weighed in. We tried it this year and it failed. Be no more with chinook scaffolding offering their service on inspections. Also be set time for weigh in each day. Be a shot gun start each day and back by a certain time each day. Weigh in will start after everyone’s back to shore. Coolers be lined up for weigh in then. This year wasn’t a tourney it was derby. Be a shot gun start each day. For a tourney fish off it’s set times and you need to manage your time. No more overnighters. Fish a derby for that. This is a tournament and it’s required to manage your time to win the event. Best of luck next year ! Be a better show for sure. More to come Lot of feed back on this year and things will be changed It’s very important to bring the best event possible and we will do that. Thanks for all the feed back and yes there will be changes made Stay tuned for Next years format and there will be a combined weight winner over the 3 days along with biggest fish. More teams can win money off this format. Stay tuned.

Good Afternoon everyone!! Rob here, just wanted to come on here and say how appreciative my family and I have been of all you and your support to Brad and I’s tournament, and I just wanted to make a post so everyone’s aware that my family and I will be taking a step away, any new inquiries can now be directly passed to Brad as he will be running next years and years to come, next year we will most definitely be participants and absolutely cannot wait to fish with you all next year!!🎣
